SE 380

The basic concept of the SE 380 combines maximum stability, high drive power to optimise machining times, quick rapid feeds, good accessibility to all components and a clear design.

This machining centre is built as a horizontal twin-spindle machine with a swivel table. Each of the two work spindles is in its own 3-axis machining module. In normal machining operation, the spindles move synchronously. To compensate for clamping errors or for circular machining tasks, it is, however, also possible to make X, Y or Z axis corrections to each of the work spindles.

A circular magazine with 30 tool places is assigned to each work spindle to supply tools.

Four rotary tables are assembled on the swivel table so that there are always two rotary tables ready in the work area and two rotary tables on the loading and unloading side.
This also makes it possible to change workpieces during machining time in this machining centre. These rotary tables are optionally equipped with three clamping circuits per indexing table so that the clamping device can be swivelled for
5-sided machining.
Because of the size, it is also possible to use clamping devices with several workpieces, which further reduces the times per workpiece.
This machining concept is especially well suited for the machining of smaller and larger cast components, such as automobile components, housings, etc.
